About Journal
The electronic scientific journal "Oil and Gas Business" is meant for the specialists of the petroleum and gas industries, and also for teachers, students, post-graduate students and scientific employees.
The founder of the journal: Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.
USPTU is one of the largest technological universities in Russia, one of the leading schools training scientific - pedagogical staff both for the profile schools of Russia and research institutes of the petroleum, gas and building industries.
About 13 thousand students from 49 subjects of the Russian Federation and foreign states (in 2001 - 169 foreign students from 24 countries,) study at the university. The training is conducted on 27 licensed specialities and directions on more than 15 specializations at 60 faculties. The staff training is provided by 836 teachers, including 26 full members and corresponding members of the public Academies of Sciences of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan, 117 Doctors of Sciences, Professors and 456 assistant professors, candidates of sciences.
Additionally, about 4 thousand engineers of Russian fuel-energy complex and petroleum enterprises of Kazakhstan annually take the courses of qualification improvement and professional retraining at the Qualification Improvement Institute of the University.
The journal "Oil and Gas Business " is the electronic scientific edition officially registered at the Ministry of Press, TV and Broadcasting and Mass media of the Russian Federation (the certificate on the registration of mass media EL N77-4426 dated 19.03.2001). The journal is registered in the Depository of the electronic editions of the scientific technical centre "Informregistr" as the electronic edition "Oil and Gas Business " on June 10, 2002 and the number of the state registration 0320200609 is given to it.
The articles are published on the web site of the journal as files in PDF format. The published materials are kept at the editorial office of the journal and according to the Federal law of Russia "About the obligatory copy of the documents" are regularly delivered to the scientific technical centre STC "Informregistr".
The journal accepts scientific articles from the authors and creative collectives on the following subjects:

- Applied academic researches (mathematics, physics, chemistry, science of materials)
The publication of articles is free-of-charge, access to them is free.
All the published materials pass careful selection and are reviewed. The editors reserves the right to reject the article or return it to revision. The leading experts of the USPTU, AS of RB, RSU named be Gubkin, MSU, Ukhtinsky STU, Tyumen SPGU, IPTER, VNIIST,VNIIGAZ, Mishkolc (Hungary) and Leobensky (Austria) universities are involved in this review.
The ownership of the copyrights of the materials, published in the journal, are determined by the current legislation of the Russian Federation.
Besides the publication of abstracts, dissertations, monographs of limited circulation, reports, methodical manuals, series of lectures and other materials is possible at the web site of the journal.
