RESEARCH OF MICROWAVE PROCESSING OF AUTOMOBILE GASOLINES
http://www.ogbus.ru/authors/KarpovSA/KarpovSA_4.pdf (in Russian)

Under influence of external factors the hydrocarbon molecules of gasoline start to cooperate with each other forming permolecular hydrocarbon groups. Given permolecular structures do not burn down completely in an internal combustion engine. As a result they are thrown out in an atmosphere in the form of harmful components of the fulfilled gases of the engine and/or collect in the form of carbon-slag adjournment. At passage of fuel through a microwave field its structure varies, so fuel burns down more quickly and effectively. The changes of operational characteristics of commodity gasolines are researched in this work at influence on them of microwave radiation, and parameters of such influence are selected.

DEVELOPMENT OF MANUFACTURE OF ETHANOL AS ALTERNATIVE SOURCE OF AUTOMOBILE FUELS
http://www.ogbus.ru/authors/KarpovSA/KarpovSA_3.pdf (in Russian)

Some decades ethanol is known as fuel. Really Henry Ford developing his "Model T" hoped that ethanol made from renewed biological materials will be the basic automobile fuel. Nevertheless in the beginning of the XX century gasoline start to be the basic transport fuel caused of the growth of cheaper oil deliveries from the open oil fields. Last achievements in the field of biotechnology allow coming on qualitatively new business economics level of ethanol manufacture. Russia has the necessary scientifically-technological and industrial preconditions for development of manufacture of fuel ethanol, however in the country it is happen a situation when the tax laws is an obstacle for successful use of ethanol as fuel.

DISSOCIATION OF HYDRATED MARINE SEDIMENT
http://www.ogbus.ru/eng/authors/Iqbal/Iqbal_1.pdf

Modelling of hydrate dissociation in a sediment bed is needed to understand the gas evolution characteristics. This will determine temperature profiles in the sediment bed at different times and also the rate of propagation of the dissociation front. The model would consider the subsidence of sediment bed during and after hydrate dissociation. Sediment collapse would affect the gas recovery from hydrated sediments and an understanding of the process is thus crucial to cost effective gas extraction from hydrate. The model gives us a picture of the collapse process in time. Sediment subsidence curves show that subsidence is a strong function of void ratio and compression index of the sediment. Lower void ratios resulted in almost linear dependence of subsidence on time, whereas higher void ratios produced a curvature in the plot. The effect was similar with lower compression indices producing gradual subsidence and higher values resulting in exponential curves. Total settlement plots illustrated a linear behaviour of settlement with time at low values of shear stress change. Larger values of both compression index and shear stress change caused markedly non linear relationship with time. Increasing iterations (in effect increasing the time of settlement) found settlements to taper off. The settlement curve obtained by the model was compared to the actual settlement curves of marine sediment under compression. It was found that when the model was set to the overburden pressure and other parameters of the experimental results, the prediction of settlement was acceptably close. The model will allow optimization of gas recovery efforts from hydrated sediments.

CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF PIPELINE PROJECTS IN PAKISTAN - ASSOCIATED RISKS AND THEIR SOLUTION
http://www.ogbus.ru/eng/authors/Mubin/Mubin_1.pdf

Looking its high energy demand, Pakistan is planning to import natural gas through pipelines from neighboring countries. For fully utilizing the imported gas, providing it to end customers, the infrastructure of gas pipeline is being developed. Therefore a huge investment is being carried out in this sector. During the last 10 years the network of main and distribution gas pipeline has been expanded by 85%. But the geological and geographical conditions of Pakistan are tough for the construction. On one side there are glaciers and high mountains, on the other side there is desert and plan of river Indus with extensive network of wide rivers and canals. There is always risk of earthquake, landslides and floods. Instable Government policies, high rate of inflation, rapid change in material prices are also important risk factors. Looking the current geopolitics situation there is a persistent threat of war and terrorism in the country. All these factors make the situation very complex in quantifying the risk factors especially when the project is gas pipeline in which the impact factor of risk exponentially rise in case of risk occurrence. Moreover, due to the absence of modern project or risk management techniques and methodologies the projects are usually not completed in their planned time or budget. Effort has been made to quantify the associated risks of gas pipeline project on the basis of historical data. The research will be helpful to separate the most important risks from the trivial many for the construction of any sort of pipeline project in the northern areas of Pakistan.

POTENTIAL OF UV-VISIBLE ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY FOR CHARACTERIZING CRUDE PETROLEUM OILS
http://www.ogbus.ru/eng/authors/Evdokimov/Evdokimov_1e.pdf
http://www.ogbus.ru/authors/Evdokimov/Evdokimov_1.pdf (in Russian)

New experimental data as well as analysis of published databases show that the potential of UV-Visible absorption (UVVA) spectroscopy for classification/evaluation of petroleum may be strongly underestimated. Even the simplest "coloration" approach, when monotonous UVVA spectra are characterized by a single numerical parameter, allows distinguishing various types of crude oils. Subjected to proper processing, apparently "featureless" UVVA spectrum shows a multiple peak structure superimposed on a general monotonous background providing a basis for UVVA employment for compositional analysis of crude oils. The main practical problem is that generally crude oils are opaque and have to be diluted for UVVA analysis. Our experiments show that oil dilution may strongly affect the measured UVVA spectra apparently due to de-aggregation of asphaltenes in a solution. Further development of UVVA techniques requires better understanding of the nature/composition of asphaltenes. A useful approach may be consideration of "molecular diversity" models, being developed for other systems with continuous UVVA spectra, in particular for humic acids and melanins.

The methodology of application of the system analysis and the relevant mathematical models for optimization of gas flows in complex gas transportation systems (GTS) are considered taking into account the gas pipelines emissions' environmental impact. The proposed approach allows the researcher to estimate the level of geoecological risks at separate sections of pipelines and rank the GTS subsystems by this index. In turn, it permits to single out the pipeline sections sets, where the management solutions and measure have to be undertaken in order to decrease the level of geoecological risks. The stage of the system synthesis envisages the possibility of the geoecological risk assessment during operation of the whole system.

INVESTMENTS AND VERTICAL INTEGRATION - CATALYST FOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE OIL INDUSTRY OF AN EMERGING MARKET: THE CASE OF REFINING IN KUWAIT
http://www.ogbus.ru/authors/Salisu/Salisu_1.pdf

This paper explores the possibilities of investment in the oil sector of a developing market and elaborated the advantage of vertical integration in a market where secondary raw materials are in shortage. I study a detailed of investment appeals and values that matters in investing. I argued that relevant business plans, based on vertical integration would create opportunity for FDI investment in Kuwait, where industrial development has always been faced by formidable obstacles including poor resources, which limits the manufacturing industries. I document that investors, are more selective in choosing company to invest in, mostly influenced by on values which are in no way in direct relationships with the financial performance. I hypothesize that this selection is caused by the modern market trend, where changes is the order of the day and competitiveness, R&D and excellent management strategy are important to adapt to these continuous changes. In line with this hypothesis, I document that to address the problem of labor force, necessary intellectual assets plans need to be researched; this I argue can help provided an avenue for expansion and greater productivity or profitability, thereby appealing for more FDI in Kuwait.

At that, capacitance of cell where the investigated medium is placed, changes more rapidly than it could be changed without electric field, that is conditioned by the acceleration of paraffin crystals growth in the electric field. This process is also influenced by pyrobitumens.

PROCESSING OF BORING SOLUTION AT DRILLING WELLS WITH HORIZONTAL TERMINATION
http://www.ogbus.ru/authors/PetrovNA/PetrovNA_6.pdf (in Russian)

During drilling a skilled-technological well 1557/22 of Sugmutskoe deposit in a horizontal site of well as a basis the polymer-clay drilling mud was applied, which in usual slanted wells (Noyabrsky region) was applied.
The chemical processing of the solution included these materials and reagents: bent powder RVMA, SŒS, SAIPAN, POLYCEM-D, LUBE-167. The updating of the solution consists in additional processing by polymers and lubricant additives (LUBE-167 and graphite) and also by the complex of surface-active substances SNPKh-PKD-515. Last gave to the solution the inhibiting (clay hydration) and superficial-active properties. For increase of the solution density was used the carbonate weighting agent. The antitacking additive Paipe-Lax was in stock.
The installation of the filter FSG-146 was provided in a horizontal site. Before hermetic sealing of space is higher than the filter with the help of packer PDM-146 a washing solution, which taking place in a horizontal trunk, is replaced on a weak concentrated hydrochloric acid with the additive cationic surface-active substance 0,5-1,5 % of water repellent agent IVV-1.

TO THE THEORY OF REMOTE ACOUSTIC SOUNDING THE PUNCHED GAS CHINKS
http://www.ogbus.ru/authors/Shagapov/Shagapov_1.pdf (in Russian)

The opportunity of a remote way of sounding of quality of opening punched face zones of gas chinks with the help of acoustic signals is analyzed. With this purpose in work results of researches on evolution of acoustic waves in the cylindrical channels having the punched site are submitted. Quantitative and qualitative features of dynamics of waves are established depending on quality of punching. The results showing are received, that quality of opening of rocks essentially influence evolution of acoustic signals.
