POWER EFFICIENCY OF SUCKER-ROD PUMPING
http://www.ogbus.com/eng/authors/Takacs/Takacs_1.pdf

The paper investigates the power conditions of sucker-rod pumped installations. After a detailed evuluation of the possible energy losses, a three-therm formula is proposed in which the most important term is lifting efficiency that describes the downhole energy losses in the rod-pumped well.

FULLERENES IN IRON-BASED CARBONACEOUS ALLOYS
http://www.ogbus.com/eng/authors/Kuzeev/Kuzeev_1.pdf

Investigated fullerene formation in blast furnace process, dependence of melt cooling conditions during the first crystallisation of grey pig iron and high-strength iron on fullerene amount, as well as self-organisation of fullerenes while saturating of metal surface with carbon atoms during carburizing.

PRICE SIGNALS OR CHEAP OIL NOISE?
http://www.ogbus.com/eng/authors/McKillop/McKillop_1.pdf

While the long-term perspective for large increases of oil and gas output, at reasonable prices and in timely fashion relative to demand is for the least debatable, the near-term context is surely one in which the price and demand factors are primoridial. In fact, we are now in a period of rising oil (and gas) prices not only due to "demand shock", but also to declining supluses of export capacity, geopolitical impacts of US-UK military action in Iraq, and the economy and energy industry sequels of underpriced energy for so many years

GLOBAL TRADE PROSPECTS IN NATURAL GAS
http://www.ogbus.com/eng/authors/Csete/Csete_1.pdf

The author give a survey on the prospects of the natural gas trade on a basis of international databases. Not only the production and the consumption data of natural gas are presented but the global export import and reserves data as well. The P/R ratio at natural gas longer then sixty years so the natural gas will play a significant role in energetics in the decades coming.
